Two Women Fined in N.S.W. Court. SYDNEY. April 12. Women as well as men have been caqght “jumping the rattler” in New Sotith Wales. Stanley Collins, 29, John Thorpe, 29. Alma Roberts, 20, and Olga Sutton, 24, who travelled in an empty sheep truck were arrested and charged at Boorowa with not having paid their fares. They were each fined 10s. The women said they came from Queensland and had been working in Adelaide, where they ran short of monej\ They 1 1 *.ched Melbourne by getting lifts along the road. From Melbourne they “ jumped the rattler ” as far as Wagga, where, they said, they were arrested. They then went to Harden, where they boarded the Boorowa train, which they thought was going to Sydney. They were not travelling with the men, who had got into the same truck after they boarded the train at Harden.
