“THE MUMMY.”
Based on the ancient Egyptian cult of reincarnation. “ The Mummy,” starring Boris Karloff, will be screened at the King's Theatre Talkies, Sydenham, to-night and to-morrow night. Weird and fantastic, but not gruesomely so, the production was suggested by the exploits of the late Lord Carnarvon and Howard Carter, who discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen. On Saturday “ Smiling Through,” starring Norma Shearer and Fredric March, will be screened.
