COLOMBO TEA SALES. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, April IS. Mr L. M. Wright has received the following cabled report on the Colombo tea auction of April 17:— Despite the large quantity auctioned, 3,600,0001 b, the market for common medium and fine teas advanced id per lb. Quality of offerings was plain. At next week's sale 2,610.0001 b will be cf talogued for auction. As this is 1,000,0001 b less than last week, a strong market is anticipated. OXFORD T ARM SOLE. 11. C. Smith, of the City Market, reports having sold a good mixed farm at Oxford of nearly 100 acres on account of Mr Horne to Mr M’Cauley. 6 LAWN OP HOPE GOLD MINES. A report from the Dawn of Hope Gold Mines states:—“Driving on the hanging wall dropper of the Golden Age reef was continued, the distance driven being 4ft, making a total distance of 24ft to date. The dropper now shows a width of 15in, and shows gold in the ore broken. The country rock encasing the reef is of a good description, but of a very hard character.'* DAIRY PRODUCE.
