(Special to the "Star.”) NELSON. April 18. A prompt alarm and a quick response by the brigade saved Griffin and Sons’ biscuit factory from fire last night. Some tons of coal used for the furnace ignited, causing a blaze next to the box storeroom, and the names were fanned by a breeze. The walls of the storeroom caught alight, but the brigade soon had control.
