The Railway Department will run a j rail and motor excursion to Akaroa ' next Sunday, and another of the popular mystery tramping excursions will be run in conjunction with it. The tiain is due to leave Christchurch at 9 am. The fares will be 7s 6d for the excursion and 2s 6d for the mystery tramp. Tea will be provided free for the trampers.
