HORNBY PARISH MEETING.
The annual meeting of parishioners of St Columba Church, Hornby, was held in the Parish Hall, the vicar, the Rev Hubert Jones, presiding over a large attendance. The church warden's report and treasurer’s report were read by the secretary, Mr E. G. Walker. The balance-sheet of the vestry, Sunday School and Ladles' Guild were read, each disclosing a satisfactory credit balance. A motion of thanks was passed to Mr J. Balnbrldge. the organist, for his good work and regular attendance at the organ throughout the year. Thanks were also passed to the secretary and treasurer, Sunday School teachers, Ladles’ Guild and all oth—* church workers. The - election re. officers resulted:—Bishop’s warden. Mr J. G. ATarsden; people's warden. Atr L. A. Horman: vestry, Messrs K. G. Walker, J. Palmer. J. W. Bainhridge and C. Bashford. At the conclusion of the meeting supper was served by the ladies.
