GIFT PARTIES.
Miss Rita Crammer. Merivale. has been entertained by several of her friends lately in honour of her marriage, which took place to- lav. Mrs Mervvn Neake. Oxford Terrace, recently gave a gilt afternoon for Mis* Grammer. The guests wore:—Mesdames E. B. Dixon. Lamb. S. Hendry, Fowlds (Wellington) and Robinson: Misses Rita Grammer, Shona Lamb. Mavis Dixon. Elwyn M’Donald, Mollle Nester and Paddy Grammer. An enjoyable evening party for Miss Grammer was held at the home of Mr and Mrs A E. Nelson. Cuba Street, Linwood. The guests at this party brought gifts for Miss Grammer’s pantry. The evening was spent in games and items Among those present were:—Alesdames A. E. Nelson. W. Grammer, Goodall, sen., A. Anderson, L. Chamberlain, H. Grammer. G. Goodall and G. Weavers; Alisses Rita Grammer, Dawn Chamberlain and Alice Grammer: Alessrs A. Nelson, H. Grammer. L. Chamberlain, G. Goodall, A. Anderson and H. Al'Donald.
