PERFECT APPLES.
Seven Months in Carbon Monoxide. United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received April 18, 2.15 p.m.) LONDON. April 17. The Royal Agricultural Show at Westminster features apples which last September were put into a chamber filled with carbon monoxide. When they were recently opened their flavour and condition were perfect. The method is a vast improvement on cold storage, experts say.
