Uniformity Desired By Business Men.

Per Association. WELLINGTON, April 17. JN ACCORDANCE with the Empire-wide movement by Chambers of Commerce to bring about uniformity in the bankruptcy law. based on a model of the English law, the executive of the Associated Chambers of Commerce has circulated constituent chambers inviting them to bring forward proposals regarding any amendments considered necessary in the bankruptcy law of New Zealand. New Zealand law at present differs in certain basic principles from the law of England on the subject, and a survey setting out the whole position in the Empire was recently completed by the Federation of Chambers of Commerce of the British Empire.
