Progressive Bowling Tournament. The Lyttelton Bowling Club played a progressive doubles tournament on Saturday afternoon for the closing day of the season. The leads’ prize was won by R. Clow and the skips’ prize by J. Souter. Salvation Army Jubilee. The Lyttelton Salvation Army Corps will celebrate the jubilee of the foundation of the corps at Lyttelton at the end of this month. Invitations have been issried to members of local bodies to attend the gatherings which are being arranged to celebrate the occasion. Bowling Match. The final of the doubles championship for the Norton Shield resulted in a tie on the twenty-first head between R. Fenton and J. M’Cormick and S. Edgar and W. Cleary. Failing light prevented another head from being played, and it was arranged that the final be played off this week.
