Papanui Club Opens Season. The Papanui Amateur Cycling Club opened the road racing season on Saturday with a fifteen-mile race at Paparmi. Forty riders faced the starter, with G. R. Giles. F. J. Grose and T. A. Grose on scratch, conceding a start of 4£min. The strong nor’-wester made conditions hard for most of the competitors, who were not yet fit fcr_a hard race. J.
