The officials were as follows: —Judges Messrs John Montgomery and A. Dawson: judges' steward. Mr K. Jamieson - captain, Mr (.1. Biitcliff; official guns, Messrs R. H. Cooke, H. Truscott aiirl P Irwtn; trap steward, Mr G. Ormandy. The Result. Hope of Cornwall -j Rajah of Broomhouse (imp ) 2 Ch Pompey The winner took the M’Kenzie Cup i perpetua l trophy presented by iir'j ’r M’Kenzie. The second prize was Presented by Mr John Montgomery anrl the third by Mr A. Dawson y and the .. Mr John Montgomery, president of the club, presented the prizes to the winners. He briefly thanked Mr MKenzie for his gift of the cun Mr Winter for the use of his property and also the various officials. making special reference to the work of Mr Ormandy as trap steward Mr A. Dawson, who judged with Mr Montgomery, said that the winner Hope of Cornwall, had given a particularly even exhibition at the two tests He referred to the fine work of U.nnnei’* in the test on feather.
