In the bank section Commercial Bank prefeienoe shares touched a new high level with a sale at £9 10s. and with a sale at 4Ss 6d Bank of New Zealand recovered from the slight casing at the week-end. Colonial Sugars were firm and changed hands at £65 2« 6d, more being wanted at that figure. The mining section was fairlv active with Inquiries for Walhis at 355.
