Black, was entertained at the Masonic Hall, Riccarton, by friends and fellow employees on Saturday evening on the occasion of his approaching marriage. Mrs W. M. Shand acted as hostess, and during the course of the evening Mr W. M. Shand, manager of Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd.,

took the opportunity, on behalf of the staff, of tendering Mr Dailey their best wishes for the future happiness of himself and his bride to be, Miss Nola Ward, together with a gift of cutlery as a token of those wishes.
