LODGE MEETINGS.

Lily of Richmond Druids. Arch Druid Brother Bartram presided over a small attendance of brethren at a meeting of of Lily of Richmond No. 20 Druids’ Dodge. Reports were received on the sick brethren and sick pay totalling £8 10s was passed for payment. An invitation was received and accepted to attend the Druids’ dance to be hied on July 10. The Grand Secretary notified that the amendments to rules had been registered and requested that the names of brethren entitled to participate be forwarded to him immediately. Arch Druid Brother Westwood tendered his resignation as Arch Druid and Brother Bartram was elected to the vacancy and installed by the District President. Dr Stewart Hunter and Dr D. E. Orchard were appointed to the lodge's list of doctors. The Arch Druid reported attending the complimentary social given by the Hope of St Albans Dodge to the Grand President. Brother Freeman. He also congratulated Brother M’Kenzde upon his election as Grand Guardian. Brother M’Kenzie in reply thanked the lodge for the welcome accorded him and also for the congratulations received upon his election as Grand Guardian. The secretary of the Social Committee suggested that invitations be forwarded to the following Dodges;—Queen of the Oak, April 24; Hope of St Albans and Anchor Dodges, July 4; Mistletoe and Acorn Dodges, September 12; Pioneer Dodge, November 7; Christmas social, December 19. Court Star roresters. Tlie quarterly meeting of Court Star of Canterbury No. 2309, A.0.F.. wac held in the Foresters’ Hall, Oxford Terrace, Chief Ranger Brother G. W. Calvert presiding. The woodwards’ report on the sick at present on the funds was received and sick pay passed for payment. The district secretary forwarded the agenda paper for the Canterbury united district meeting to be held at Raknia on May 3. There was a discussion on the paper, and the dele- . gate to the meeting received final instructions. Three candidates were initiated into the order by the Chief Ranger assisted by Worthy Brother S. E. Browne. Four candidates were proposed for membership and approved. Riccarton Recliabites. The fortnightly meeting of the Ricca rton Tent, 1.0. R., was held in the Town Hall. C.R. Sister E. Roberts presided. A sick report was received, and It was mentioned that Brother W. F. Saunders was progressing favourably. Reports on visits paid by the Tent were, received. Members of the Juvenile Tent were present by invitation and were reminded of their meeting- on Monday next, when the "Rash Shield’’ and other prizes would be presented. Members were invited to the Philipson Tent’s anniversary on April 26. After the meeting the usual social hour was. spent in playing games and dancing. Brother C. E. Saunders gave a report on the district conference, from which he lias just returned.
