BOXING.
Amateur Novice Tournament Next Week. At the Caledonian Hall next Tuesday evening- the Christchurch Sports Club will open its season with an amateur novice tournament. Very satisfactory entries have been received. There should be some hard lighting and good exhibitions of clever boxing, as the novice tournaments usually provide some thrilling encounters. As'’ the prices are nominal there should be a full house. The first bout will be commenced at eight o’clock.
