(Special to the " Star.”) AUCKLAND, April 14. Bidding was quieter this morning oh the Stock Exchange, only a few sales being recorded at the call. Bank of New' Zealand shares were a trifle easier, but after a sale at 48s 4d there were still buyers at that figure. Farmers' .Auctioneering shares were again in demand, a buyer coming for ordinaries at. 60s. In the mines section Mahakipawas were a shade easier with sellers at 6Jd. Blac-kwaters and Consolidated Golds were steady at lower levels than those ruling yesterday. Gillespie’s Beach sold at 3id cheaper at Is lOd. Waihis firmed i*p with a sale at 35s 3d.
