The pacing gelding Jimmy de Oro is a recent addition to J. Bryce’s stable Jimmy de Oro was educated and developed by R. J. Humphreys, who won a novice event with the gelding at Geraldine last season. At that time Jimmy de Oro was heralded as a potential champion, but in his next appearance he broke up at the start. Since then he has lost numerous races through his erratic behaviour at the barrier. During a part of the present racing term he was trained at Addington by A. Holmes, who was successful! with the gelding on the Southland circuit at Christmas time. Jimmy de Oro has plenty of speed and can stay, and it i s only a question of J. Bryce getting him to listen to reason at the start of his races to be successful with the gelding. STF.PUVr, KXTTIRTTIQN.
