Mr Arthur Lilly. A.R.C.0., gave a successful inaugural organ recital in fet Paul's Presbyterian Church last evening before a large audience. Mr Lilly, who will take up his duties as organist and choirmaster of the church next Sunday created a sound impression as a result of his playing, which was refined. Me also showed g'ood technique and brought out to the lull the beauties of the organ. Master Welford Hewlett sang “ O Em- the Wings of a Dove ” (Mendelssohn) and “Come Unto Him ” (Handel). Miss Jean Scott sang ” Hear Ye, Israel " (Mendelssohn). Mr Ernest Rogers sang *' Waft Her, Angels ” (Handel).
