WORK FOR BOYS
Operations of Wellington Committee. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, April 9. During the year ended March 31 the Wellington Boys’ Emplovment Com mittee placed 1269 bovs—763 in permanent positions and 323 in temporary positions, 183 being in the country. Of the placements, only 139 L*oys came from school, while 1130 were unemployed. There is great difficulty in placing boys of eighteen to twenty and their plight represents one of the tragic features of the present situation.
