DROWNED WHILE FISHING.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, April 9. Edward G. Elliott, a married man, 58 years of age, was drowned while fishing off Buckland’s Beach this morning, Calls were heard for help, and another boat rescued Elliott from the water, but he did not revive. Mr Elliott was a well known resident of the district. Formerly he was a prominent sharebroker in Auckland. He retired in 1921.
