STANMORE BAND.
Third Annual Meeting Held. The third annual general meeting of the Stamnore Silver Band* was held in the band hall. Oxford Terrace, on Saturday evening last, there being a good attendance of bandsmen and supporters, presided over by Mr Arthur Lilly, A.R.C.O. After the conductor (Mr J. A. Lloyd) had reac? his report the election of officers took place, resulting:—Patron, Mr C. S. Trillo; president, Mr Arthur Lilly; vice-presidents, Messrs A. M’Lachlan. J. Rhind. W. Savage. R. Woodward. Rev F. T. Read, Dr J. E. K. Brown, Dr J. C. Bradshaw; honorary secretary, Mr W. J. M. Gosney; honorary treasurer. Mr A. S. Whetter; honorary auditor, Mr C. W. Evans; honorary solicitor, Mr H. P. Smith; conductor, Mr N. M’Leod-Smith; bandmaster, Mr J. A. Lloyd 1; drum major. Mr F. Tyson; sergeant, Mr F. J. L. Clarkecorporal. Mr E. E. Taylor; lance corporal. Mr N. A. Newcomb; custodian. Mr N. A. Newcomb; librarian, Mr E E Taylor; committee, Messrs F G L Clarke, J. Dephoff, VV. Dickinson, E. K Taylor, N. A. Newcomb and F. Tyson.
