The King ha $ approved of the appointment of Sir Josiah Crosby, British Minister at Panama, to be envoy at Bangkok in succession to Mr E. F. Former. Sir Jdsiah Crosby began his diplomatic career in Siam and previously served at Bangkok as vice-con-sul in 1911 and acting-consul-general in 1919-20.
