TO BURN GARDEN RUBBISH.
Procure a length of drain or rainwater pipe, or anything that will create a draught, lay it on the ground, and around one end arrange three bricks. Then on top of the bricks place some dry twigs, set alight, and when blazing, pile on the rubbish. The open end of the pipe should face the direction from which tha wind is blowing.
