SEEKS HEALTHY NATION.
Germany’s Medical Chamber of Horrors. BERLIN, March 27. The nation-wide campaign scientifically to breed bigg«4* and better families was advanced in two important directions to-day. An exhibition entitled “ Hereditarily sound—hereditarily diseased ” was opened in the capital, in w’hich the results of the union of healthy parents were graphically contrasted with the shocking products of ill-judged marriages. The principal feature of the exhibition is “ The Parade of Horror,” made up of pictures of the insane and weakminded, the crippled and otherwise deformed. This display is designed to drive home to visitors that each dumb and crippled and weak-minded child costs Berlin taxpayers eight per day. A vigorous attack on the problems of race hygiene was ordered to be issued by Dr Wagner, leader of the National League of Physicians, requiring every member to purchase a newlypublished book, in which the recent “ Law for the elimination of hereditary diseases ” is officially interpreted by Nazi experts.
