POLICE COURT.
William Patrick Carey, a labourer, 28 years of age, pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court this morning to a charge ot' assaulting Christopher Frederick Harbidge on April 6. Mr H. P. La wry, S.M., presided. Senior-Sergeant Fox said that as two essential witnesses had to be secured, he would ask for a remand until Monday. Accused was remanded on bail of £5 and one surety of £5.
