Cycling at night without lights was responsible for a heavy charge list In the Traffic Court this morning. Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M.. presided. For cycling at night without lights the lollowing were fined: Charles Andrew Allen, 15s and costs; Kenneth James Allen, 15s and costs; Victor Anderson, 15s and costs; James Campbell, 15s and costs; Ray Henry Carter, convicted, with costs only, and for. obstructing a constable, £1 and costs; Grant Duncan, 15s and costs; Leonard Dunmlll.* 15s and costs; Percy Francis Fleete, 15s and costs; James Grimley, 5s and costs; Ivan Jlling, 15s and costs; Francis Herbert Kent, 16s and costs; Robert John Lee, 5s and costs; William Durham Marks, 15s and costs; Murray M’Gill, 5s and costs, and for cycling on the footpath convicted and discharged; Jessie Orr, 5s and costs; Edward Ernest Porter, 10s and costs; Jack Poulsen. 16s and costs; Joseph Saunders, 15s and costs; Richard Simpson, 5s and costs; May Smith, 5s without costs; Robert William Stephenson, IS* and costs; Lester Wetherall, 5s without costs; Maude Whltla, 5s without costs; William Wilkinson, 15s and costs; Cyril David Edmonds, Ss and costa: Charles Hamilton Duff. 5a and costs; Robert Cummings, 15s and costs; Harold Ward, 15s and costs; Roy M’Kenzie, 15s and costs; Florence Douglas, 5s and costs; Reginold Nixen, 16» and costs, and for having no rear reflector 5s without costs: William George Wilson, 15s and costs. For cycling on the footpath, John Matson was fined 5s and costs, and Robert Wynne Owen. 15s and costs. For negligent driving Robert Barker was fined £2 and costs, and his license was endorsed; George Ballantyne Dollan was fined £1 and costs; Walter Ashby, £1 and costs; Roy Leonard Hamilton. 10s and costs: Margaret Devenish Loughnan, 10s and costs; Muriel Audrey Morrison, 10s and costs; Albert John Tutton. £1 and costa; Lawrence W. Whittington, 20s and costa, and for having no license to drive, 10a and costs. Roberto Edward Bennett was fined is and costs for not having a llcenae. and 10s and costs for driving without lights. For breaches of the lighting regulations the following were fined with costs: Benedict Ellas Bernstein. 10s; William Charles Jagger. 5s (without costs); Ralph Newburgh. ss; William Henry Robinson, ss; Lester Edward Roi, 6s; Baron Shears, 10s; Andrew James Thompson, 5s (without costs); Charles Hamilton Duff, ss. For driving at a speed dangerous to the public, Frederick Grubb waa convicted and ordered to pay costa. For cutting a corner, Albert Khourt was fined £1 and coats. Ernest Phillip Blnns was fined 15s and costs for riding a motor-cycle on the footpath.
