SYDENHAM LIBRARY.
The monthly meeting of the committee of the Sydenham Public Bibrary was held in the library on Wednesday last. The president, Mr C. Pollard, presided over an attendance of twenty members. Motions of sympathy were passed with Mr Kirton in the death of a son. and with the relatives of the late Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson. The librarian reported ha-ing purchased forty new books. The report was received. Accounts amounting to £35 Ss lid were passed lor payment. It was decided to obtain quotations for alterations to the lighting in the circulating room and for extra shelving required for the travel section.
