Carnival at Opawa. A successful swimming carnival was held in the Opawa Baths on Saturday last, under the auspices of the Opawa Amateur Swimming Club. The events resulted as follows: 25yds Opawa Schoolgirls' Handicap— N. Faulkner 1. 25yds Opawa Schoolboys’ Handicap— W. Waltho 1, E. Forse.v 2. 25yds Junior Girls’ Handicap—R. Rich 1. E. Rich 2. 50yds Junior Boys’ Handicap—R. Coveny 1. L. Jones 2. 50yds Senior Handicap—L. Bamford 1. L. Andersen 2. 100yds Boomerang Cup Race—R. Coveny 1, H. Gemmell 2, J. Minson 3. 50yds Breaststroke Handicap—R. gleans 1, G. Gemmell 2.
