Marylebcne Cricket Club, first innings, scored 272 (Barnett 116). W. T. Brindley took five wickets for 40 runs. Cevlon, second innings, scored IS9 r- 78) Marylebone scored 25 without losing a wicket, and won by ten wickets. A section of the crowd barracked Marriott’s bowling. D. R. Jardine objected, and the police escorted the offenders from the ground. As they went the barrackers shouted “ What .... .... b ,-rH-line?”
