Fisher’s ch c, by Gay Lo-thario-—Violet Rays, 3yrs, 7.6 (Skidmore) 3 Eight horses started, including Greenhorn. Won by half a length, with the third horse two lengths away. Greenhorn was fqurth. Time—2min 3Jsec. OAKLEIGH PLATE, of 1500 sovs. Five furlongs and a half. FIRST MONEY, Mr E. E. Martin’s br g, by Paper Money—Peronllla, aged. 7.6 (inc. 131 b pen.) (Skidmore) 1 HEROS, Mrs L. R. Buxton’s b g, by Heroic—Loversland, Syrs, 9.2 (Pike) 2 MULTUDO. Mr G. Allen’s b h. by Moabite —Pulchritudo, 4yrs, 5.12 (Munro) 3 Nineteen horses started, including Dole and Staghorn. Won by a neck, with the third horse half a length away. Calula King was fourth. Time—lmin 65sec. ST GEORGE STAKES, of 750 sovs. Weight for age, with penalties and allowances. One mile and a furlong. DANILO; Mr F. E. Cobbold's br c, by Chivalrous—Operetta, 3vrs, 7.7 (Dempsey) l HALL MARK. Mr C. B. Kellow’s ch c, by Heroic—Herowinkie, 3yrs, 5.13 (Pike) 2 MIDDLE WATCH. Mr W. Tindall’s blk h, by The Night Patrol— Aspirant, syrs, 9.12 (Bieasley) 3 Ten horses started. Won by half a neck, with the third horse three-quarters of a length away. Pike, the rider of Hall Mark, was reprimanded for allegedly causing interference with Viol d’Amour and Petain near the home turn.
