Operations During the Past Y ear. Operations of the New Zealand Shipping Company, Limited, for the year ended September 30, 1933, resulted in a balance, after allowance to depreciation, dividends, and contingencies of £32,304, compared with £1967 for the previous year. A sum of £43,467 has been brought forward from the previous year, and after providing £4077 for directors’ fees, £71,694 is carried forward. The fleet of the company is valued at £2,297,076, against £2,508,049 a year ago. The ordinary shares in the company are held by the P. and O. Company.
