SWIMMING.
Australians to Visit the South Island. The council of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association has received advice from the secretary of the Australian Swimming Union that the two Australians, Tickle and Clark, both of Sydney, have accepted an invitation from the Otago Centre to visit New Zealand. The swimmers will appear at a number of places in the South Island and probably at Wellington. At present there is no arrangement for the two men to appear in Christchurch. The swimmers will leave Sydney some time after February 23.
