Death of Quarryman at Paekakariki. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 16. A fatality occurred at Paekakariki shortly after noon to-day, when Thomas Gollop, aged fifty-six, fell a distance of 150 feet in the Paekakariki quarry. He was working on the face of a cliff a rock became dislodged above him and knocked him from his balance. '
