Discussions on Tramway Problems. The various problems facing the Christchurch Tramway Board were under review when the board held a special committee meeting last night. All members except Mrs E. R. M’Combs. M.P., were present. The meeting lasted for five hours, and on its conclusion the chairman (the Rev J. K. Archer) stated that the discussion had been on informal lines and had proved very interesting. Many matters had still to be dealt with, and the meeting had been adjourned until next Thursday evening. In the meantime there was nothing definite to r£port.
