Maui Pomare Due on Monday With Fruit.

The Government motor-ship, Maui Pomare, from Apia and Niue Island, is expected to arrive at Lyttelton on Monday with a full c£rgo of bananas. The Orari and Waikouaiti are expected to make their departure to-morrow, the former for London and the Waikouaiti for Sydney, via southern ports. Dovey. late third officer, on the Ivaretu. has been engaged as extra officer on the W.ajpiata. Mr F. J. Cochrane has taken Mr Dovey’s place on the Karetu. Air A. W. Bagley is relieving Air W. W. Houghton as chief engineer on the Kini. the latter having transferred to the Karetu, replacing Air W. S. Hall as chief engineer.
