Match With Wellington Representative*. Canterbury -will play the Wellington representative cricket team at Lancaster Park on Friday, Saturday and Monday. February 23, 24 and 26. arrangements between the two association* having been completed. All grade matches will, however, be continued on the Saturday, as usual. The prices will be; Enclosure and stand Is 6d. and outside Is. The Wellington team will be that which plays Otago at Dunedin in the Plunket Shield game. “The game has been arranged in view of the postponement of the Australian tour," said Mr W. L. King, chairman of the Management Committee of the Canterbury Cricket Association, yesterday. ux announcing the decision. He said the association was trying to give the cricketing public representative cricket of a high standard and at the same time encourage young players.
