Ex-convict’s Short-lived Freedom. United Press Assn.—By Electric. Telegraph—Copyright. BOSTON, February 14. Charles Ponzi, whose fantastic financial manipulations a decade ago bilked investors of millions of dollars, was released from the State prison to-day after completing his seven-year sentence. Ponzi said he would raise the money and start a legal fight against his deportation.
