The Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) flew over Christchurch and the Avon electorate this morning, being piloted by Squadron Leader J. L. Findlay. The Mayor said later that the experience was enjoyable and the view of the city from above gave a new conception of its expanse and its beauty^
