SPREYDON LIBRARY.
The monthly meeting of the Spreydon Library Committee was held recently, Mr L. Jolly presiding. A satisfactory report was received from the treasurer. The librarian’s report foi December showed that ten new subscribers had been enrolled, one cancelled, 1530 books issued, 736 subscribers attended, 40 new books placed on the shelves, making a total of 3260 volumes. In January there were five new subscribers, one cancelled; total 189 subscribers an increase of 77 for the year endec? January 31. The book buyer was empowered to purchase the usual number of new books.
