Annual Meeting of Proprietors. Per Press Association. HANMER SPRINGS, February 15. The annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association was held to-day, Mr C. W. Earle presiding. The election of officers resulted: —President, Mr C. W. Earle (re-elected); general committee, Messrs A. M. Burns, C. S. Smith, W. Blundell, R. D. Horton, T. C. List, R. H. Billens and R. P. Furness; advertising committee, Messrs E. A. Blundell, W. Easton,. A, D. Seabrook, E. C. Huie, A. J. Allport and H. W. Lrawford; Labour committee, Messrs E. C. Huie, F. A. Clarke, E. A. Blundell, C. S'. Smith, R. H. Billens and R- W. Roydhouse.; paper committee, Sir Cecil Leys, Messrs W. J. Blundell, A. M. Burns, H. Horton, W. C. Whitlock, W. J. Woods and J. J. H. M’Millan; parliamentary committee, Sir Cecil Leys, Messrs L. P. Blundell, H. Horton, A. M. Burns, W. C. Weston and 11. G. Kerslake; treasurer, Mr W. J. Blundell (re-elected) ; auditor, Mr W. L. Page (re-elected).
An address on matters connected with railways and transport was given by Mr H. Sterling, chairman of the New Zealand Railways Board. The weather is now beautifully fine and warm.
