ILLICIT STILL RAIDED.
INVERCARGILL, February 5. The police raided an illicit distilling plant in the Dunsdale district on Sunday and seized a large still, 140 gallons of whisky wash, and a dozen casks. The plant is regarded as the biggest ever found in Southland. It was elaborately fitted up, and well concealed by densely wooded hills. No arrests have been made, but information has been laid against an adjoining farmer.
