American Courses Urged to Adopt. NEW YORK, February 3. Captain Cecil Boyd Richford, before sailing for England to-day, advocated that American race tracks should adopt the Australian starting barrier. He said the jockeys and horses respected it to a high,degree, and the starts were uniformly good.
