On the day on which he was due to leave the Army, a gunper who had been left £4OOO and had “bought himself out," was found seriously injured and unconscious in Waterloo Barracks. Aldershot. The man, Gunner A. H. Liambert, of M Battery. R.H.A., was discovered by his comrades lying on the floor. His uniform was torn and he had severe face injuries. Another gunner of M Battery was detained at Farnborough station.
