JARDINE’S DESIRE.
Misses Match to Hunt Tigers. CALCUTTA, January 22. D. R. Jardine, the captain of the English cricket team visiting India, is determined to shoot his first tiger before he leaves the country. He left after the Nagpur match for Bastar State on his fourth tiger hunt, three having been unsuccessful. Jardine will miss the match at Secunderabad because of his desire to get a tiger skin.
