;:4W •a WOOL STILL RISING Cheerful news for the farmers, but in a way not so cheerful to the man in the street. Woollen goods have already advanced in price as a result of the recent wool sales. The cost of suits must follow, and they will never be cheaper than they are now. The warehouses have already raised the wholesale price of suitings. However, I was lucky and managed to buy £2OOO worth of new materials just before the rise. Now until these materials are exhausted the price of my suits will remain the same. Of course, there is another angle from which to view the rise in wool, and that is the fact that there \yill be £10,000,000 more in circulation than there was last year. It only wants butter to rise to a reasonable price and we shall be “home on the pig’s back” .... but that will come. However, I’m not in the butter business. . . .
