FARMER FOUND DEAD.
Per Presa Association. MASTERTON, February 2. Francis Arthur Bartholomew, a farmer, of Riverlin Station, Te Purupuru, was found dead at his home this morning. The upper part of his head was blown off and a shotgun was lying alongside the body. Deceased, who was 42 years of age, was a married man with two children.
