ROWING.
Anniversary Regatta at Port Chalmers. Per Press Association. PORT CHALMERS, February 3. Several thousand were present at Port Chalmers’ seventieth anniversary regatta, which was favoured by glorious sunshine. A light wind made the water lively, but this did not interfere with the rowing. Results:— Youths’ Double Sculls —Invercargill Railway 1, Queen’s Drive 2, North End Junior Fours—lnvercargill Railway 1, Queen's Drive and Avon (dead heat) 2.
