BATHS ATTENDANT.
Over 100 Applications Before Council. The baths committee of the Christchurch City Council will have a big task in weighing the merits of over one hundred applicants for the positions of custodian and female attendant at the Tepid Baths, positions which are left open by the resignations of Mr and Mrs Breward. The applications closed officially at noon to-day, but it is probable that applications arriving by post during the rest of the day will be granted consideration. By 11.30 this morning the hundred mark was passed. The positions will not necessarily be given to a married couple, though,, of course, a man and his wife may be successful competitors.
