TIMARU SOCIAL NOTES.
Mrs Minifie, Wilson Street, is visiting Hanmer Springs. Miss Vera Pike, Nile Street, is visiting Invercargill. Dr J. J. North and Mrs North, Auckland, are staying at the Dominion Miss Guild, Temuka, is the guest of the Misses Turnbull,' Wai-iti Road. Miss Dorothy Barron, Ranui, Grey Road, who was visiting Hanmer Springs, has returned. Mr and Mrs W. F. Edmond, Dunedin, have been spending a holiday at the Hermitage. Mrs Hunter-Weston, Littlebourne House, Dunedin, is on a visit to Mount John, Tekapo. Miss G. Islip, Woodlands Road, and Miss Hall, who have been visiting Dunedin, have returned home. Mr and Mrs R. Hutton-Potts, Invercargill, are visiting Timaru and are staying at the Grosvenor. Mrs Neilson and her children, Woodlands Road, who have been staying in Dunedin, have returned home. Mrs W. I. Tait and her children, Beverley Road, have returned after camping at Orari Bridge. Mrs Mulhern and Miss N. Mulhem, Geraldine, have left for Christchurch, where Miss Mulhern’s marriage will take place on Monday. Mr and Mrs C. J. Drabble, Mrs R. MacDonald (Christchurch), Mr and Mrs Partridge and Miss Hyde (Tarras) are staying at the Dominion.
